Toys (activity worksheet)

This is an easy written activity that can be done after learning and practising the Toys Vocabulary orally. It includes copying the Toys names, finding their pictures and coloring them. That's it.
Hope your students will enjoy working on this.

TEAM (classroom poster)

I continuously talk to my students about the importance of Team Work, empathy, and sharing.
T.E.A.M. aka Together Everyone Achieves More, doesn't it say it all?
So I made a poster with the purpose to motivate my students to really work as a TEAM when they are supposed to be.

Here's the sample of the colored page in the PDF file that you can download.I usually print the B&W pages on a colored A4 paper,it's much cheaper and easier.

First Day of School Interview

This year I am starting a new phase in my life. My son is going to Grade 1 and is going to learn English. And to everybody's great surprise I started teaching him English only a couple of weeks ago.
This is the worksheet specially dedicated to him, a First Day of School Interview sheet which I am planning to make an annual thing.

You can download the file in my TPT Store

LINE UP CHANT

Do you want a fun way of teaching how to line up?I love this chant and have decided to turn it into a printable to display it in the classroom.Model first how the students should make a line. Then practise acting out. Before really making a line practise saying it. It can be practised like an attention grabber, like the teacher says: " Eyes..." , the students say : " on the door!"Then turn to the action itself.

You can download it for free in my new TPT store here

3D SHAPES ( poem + worksheet)

I enjoy teaching poems to my primary grade classrooms.Poetry is multi-sensory learning at its best.  Teaching poems doesn't take much time to practise. You won't have to overload the students with lots of words. Plus you can always act out and use gestures for the action words making it more fun and memorable.
Have a look at the 3D Shapes Poems I found at The Kindergarten Smorgasboard and turned it into a printable worksheet.

FIRST DAY OF FIRST GRADE (poem)

While pinning Back to School ideas I came across with this cute poem at Teachers Pay Teachers published by Kelly Conner and as I love teaching poems I immediately turned it into a Back to School worksheet.
